Since Tuesday 3rd March, JC’s Kitchen has set up shop in the Car Park of the church. They serve very tasty Filipino/British Fusion cuisine from 11.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. every Tuesday, except in stormy weather. JC’s Kitchen is the brain-child of Ron, his wife Elaine, and their son Owen. JC stands for Jesus Christ, and Ron will happily tell people that the CEO of the company is the Lord. Their mission is to spread the Good News of the Gospel through good quality food. The family is ready to talk with anyone about matters of faith.

The church is very close to Wiltshire College/University. We saw this proximity as a God-sent opportunity. It allows us to reach out to the students, staff, and passers-by. Our approach is not preaching or sermonising. It allows for gentle evangelism. It has been good to see so many coming across the threshold of the Car Park. The enticing aroma of the spices as they cook no doubt tempts them. To complement the JC’s Kitchen gazebo, we have set up our own. This setup allows people to enjoy their food comfortably. They can sit rather than eat as they wander back to college. Again, this has been very successful. We hope it will lead to conversations and debates with the young people as they enjoy their food.

If you are in the area and fancy an excellent bite to eat, we look forward to seeing you. You will also enjoy interesting conversation.
