Upper Studley Baptist Church is always very pleased to host the local Toddler Group in our church hall. At holiday times we invite them to share in the season with us by sharing a short fun service in church. Last year the Toddler Group enjoyed a Christmas story while the Mums sang some favourite Christmas carols accompanied by members of the church.
All of the children were very well behaved and a good time was had by all. As a special gift all the children received a book called Amazing Days, which tells the story of the first Christmas.
After the service a party was laid on in the church hall with tea, cake and lots of nice party food. All the children had a great time with healthy food and nice treats. Even the adults had plenty of nice surprises too.
Of course the party could not finish until Fr Christmas came and gave out presents to all the children. Santa arrived with a giant sack and a “Ho, Ho, Ho”. Santa greeted everyone and sat with the Toddler Group leaders to give out gifts. Every child had a present and went home happy.
